A new service takes the whole stack off your hands with one API call.

Click, a startup from Y Combinator's Summer 2026 batch, has launched a 'Managed Agents API'.

The free plan gives 2 concurrent sessions plus 1 sandbox hour, 1 browser hour and 100 web searches a month. Pro is 199 dollars a month for 50 concurrent sessions.

Key points:
① Send a task to the API and Click runs the agent, streaming progress and results back as live events. Long jobs ping a webhook when they are done
② Each session comes with a sandbox, a browser and web search built in, and can also plug into the user's own MCP servers or HTTP tools. Files can be uploaded, and finished files downloaded
③ The harness reportedly adds on-demand lookup across thousands of tools, plus a 'Code Mode' that bundles tool calls into a script

Any model can be picked, and the free plan is open for sign-up right now.

One caveat: model usage is billed separately. It runs on the user's own model-provider API key (BYOK), so token costs are on each user, and since the service has only just launched, how reliable it is in production remains to be seen.
